  Ilana Block, ND
  

  As a passionate Naturopath in Montreal since 2001 , and co-owner of the Harmony Health Centre 2006-2017, Ilana has worked with patients experiencing diverse ailments with the utmost compassion, sincerity and concern for their well-being. Ilana received her B.Sc. from McGill University, before earning her ND  from the esteemed Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario.

  With special interests in women’s health and digestive issues, Ilana welcomes her patients in a warm and inviting environment to discuss personal health concerns.

  Ilana takes a genuine interest in identifying the root cause of illness and supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself. She aims to connect people with their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and assist them in developing a responsible approach to overall wellness.

  The wellbeing and comfort of new mothers is important to Ilana. As a result she co-founded Mama Comfort (www.mamacomfort.ca), a company offering soothing compresses to help women recover after childbirth. Reducing pain and inflammation, Mama Comfort is the product of much research and Ilana’s desire to offer women a natural and effective remedy.

  Ilana is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and was licensed with the Board of Drugless Therapies – Naturopathy in Ontario until 2015.  She was then licensed with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta and has practiced as a Naturopath in Montreal, Quebec since 2001.

  About the speaker:

  Dr. Christine Palmay 

  Dr. Christine Palmay graduated from the Western University Schulich School of Medicine in 2006 and completed her residency at the University of Toronto in 2008. She currently manages a busy family medical practice in midtown Toronto.

  She has been listed in NOW magazine’s Best of List and was honoured by the Federation Medical Women of Canada with their 2016 National Reproductive Health Award. Dr. Palmay is a board member on the Canadian Collaborative Research Network. She also serves as a co-editor of a new primary care journal, Primary Care Today. She speaks and writes regularly on topics such as immunization, women’s health and has a passion for public education.
