Lion Dance Workshop

Join us virtually to celebrate Chinese New Year! Through this 2-day workshop, you'll learn the history of lion dancing, , exercises and dance movement, drumming techniques and creating a final project together. 

Day 1  will include history of lion dancing, basic moves, drumming and putting together a short routine.

Day 2 will involve a culminating task with a more elaborate routine such as obstacles or puzzles for the lion to solve. Some "homework" may be assigned in preparation for the final class. 

Cost: $55 for the family. Ages 3+.  Parents are encourage to participate as well!
