We're so excited to have Jenny Pizzale, Lactation Consultant from Impact Health joining us for an online talk about breastfeeding. We often hear the question "How do I know if my baby is getting enough milk?" Jenny will walk us though the following topics; 

• feeding frequency and duration 
• what goes in must come out 
• normal infant behavior 
• growth spurts
• postpartum expectations 
• breastmilk alternatives 
• how to find lactation support 
• and a question and answer period at the end!

More about Jenny Pizzale; 

Jenny Pizzale, a wife and mother to three school aged children, is a Registered Nurse, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Midwife (inactive). Jenny became interested in family centered maternity care during her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. From there she acquired her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto, and then her Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from McMaster University. In 2017, she acquired the designation of IBCLC Lactation Consultant.

Her goals are to meet individual patient needs without pressure, providing infant feeding support and guidance with a friendly and non-judgemental approach. She is passionate about staying up to date with current research, while being mindful of the normal instinctive needs of babies. Jenny has been helping women, nursing people and their families navigate the transition to parenthood for 16 years. Jenny is currently pursuing additional education in pelvic floor health.
