Parents as Partners - How to be an Involved Dad: Steps for Success

(Workshop recommended for PARENTS of children birth to 6 years)

This workshop is designed to engage, open conversation, and educate Dads about what to expect and how to manage the first few years of parenting. Becoming a parent is a huge life transition. Dads aren’t always aware of their importance in their children’s lives, nor of the impact that their presence and parenting have on their children’s success. This workshop will provide Dads with a forum to explore the realities of parenting; educate on key topics such as working with their partners, early child development expectations, and bonding/attachment; and will provide resources to build confidence in being positively involved Dads. This workshop will offer interactive exercises. Note – our focus will be on Dads and other significant male figures in your child’s life, but everyone is welcome to attend!
