Parents as Partners - Focus on Fathers: School is Cool

(Workshop recommended for PARENTS of children 3 to 5 years)

How can parents prepare children for starting school? How can parents be prepared for the day our children start school? This session will look at what children are expected to know when starting kindergarten and what parents need to know to support their child’s transition to school. We will discuss emotional, social and physical readiness for kindergarten, and for a child’s transitions to any new environments. We will look at games to play outside, and of course, we will focus on family literacy. Note – our focus will be on Dads and other significant male figures in your child’s life, but everyone is welcome to attend!
