This workshop series will offer five workshops each one hour (3 workshops and 2 panels) over a series of days.
The events of the last two years, coupled with the startling gaps in healthcare services and delivery revealed by the pandemic, have made the need to make systematic and long-term changes to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes for BIPOC and racialized persons very clear. This year's focus is providing patient-centred, culturally-appropriate care. In our recent survey of BIPOC families across Canada, 59% said they did not know where to go to receive mental health support. Let's work together to change this.

As always, we will be joined by esteemed researchers, practitioners, administrators and specialists to collectively discuss and create strategic ideation opportunities to improve systemic barriers and gaps in peri and postnatal mental health diagnosis, services and culturally appropriate care. Join us for this interactive opportunity for practitioners, students, and parents to gain valuable insight and actionable strategies and tools to help families thrive.
