Parents as Partners - Jumpstarting Language Development in Infants
PARENTING PROGRAM - FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN BIRTH to 12 MONTHS
Brought to you in partnership with Life With A Baby and EarlyON Child and Family Centre Thornhill and with Speech Language Pathologist Marlene Green.
Language learning depends on loving interaction paired with rich stimulation. The gateway to enormous joy, language learning builds the skills necessary for reading, writing and arithmetic through conversation and reasoning.
In Parents as Partners - Jumpstarting Language Development in Infants, we'll learn the impact of close responsive relationships, tuning in to the child to expose them to songs, movement, books, and words. We will look at the developmental achievements in the first year - resulting in an explosion of understanding and the development of first words.
Please note the zoom link will be sent you with your confirmation email and again in your reminder email.
Note: To participate, you must have access to the internet and the most current version of Zoom.
