Our Spring Break Makerspace Week events are designed to help you and your child fully celebrate Spring Break while developing your child's creativity, imagination, early literacy and social skills. Spring Break Makerspace provides spaces where families can gather to create, invent, and learn.

Spring Break Makerspace: Puppets!

Join us in welcoming Applefun Puppetry Chief Puppeteer Mike Harding! Since 1997, Applefun Puppetry has been performing its hilarious brand of entertainment throughout Ontario with singing, jokes, games and good old fashioned fun.

Puppet play is beneficial in that it encourages a child's development of:

motor skills

empathy

social skills

conversation/language development

imagination

exploration of emotions

group participation
