    Hello,

I am currently looking for employment so I will be going back to work in the near future. I have a 18 month old daughter, what is the average monthly rate for her age for home day care in York Region? Richmond Hill to be more specific?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I have found in other places the daily rate is $30 for home daycare or $20 for half day, in richmond hill i have found the average is $40 a day, or $25 for half days.  Usually age doesn't matter to the home daycare prices.  Regular daycare prices for the 18 months group seems to be about $45 a day or $900 a month on average but this varies greatly on the daycare as some of them are more of a preschool which can seem to cost $1500 a month.  I live in richmond hill and have done my fair share of research on daycares/ home daycares.

We're starting my daughter in home daycare in September when she's 10 months, through Wee Watch. the daily rate is $44.20 full time, a little bit more if it's part time.

It's my understanding that this rate is good until she's 2 years old, which at that time will be lower.

What we've found is that non-license home daycares prices ranged anywhere between $35-40.

    Hope this helps.

We paying 850 for 5 days a week ( each day 10 hrs) including stats holiday and so. The home care is not privet and is licensed and works under regulation. some of them are privet. Might be cheaper.
