Looking for a nanny to start soon

I am going to work within 2 weeks (a job change that I could not refuse), so we are now facing the challenge of finding a suitable nanny on a short notice.

If anyone knows someone that might be interested in a full-time nanny position, I'd love to get some referrals. My daughter is almost 11 months.

    Please, e-mail at annamoldavski@gmail.com or call 905-553-7460.

    Thank you!

We just hired a nanny so I have a few resumes I will forward to you. I got about 40+ responses to the ads I posted so I have weeded through all of them and spoke to some via telephone or email to narrow the field. I will only send you a few that may be worth pursuing. Hiring a nanny is a daunting thing. I never thought it would be so difficult to get the right person who is as wonderful as they proclaim and that their references promise them to be. I have learned a lot from my experience including that some references are faked. I wish you all the best and just make sure you ask lots of questions, get certificates such as CPR/first aid, criminal record check, references relevant to childcare and a trial period where another family member is at home with nanny and baby. I wish you the best of luck and I am just grateful I found the right person at last. I just hope she stays in the long term and I am not left in the lurch - again!
