  For mothers and birthing people in Ontario & British Columbia. 

  This is a group for mothers who are looking to connect with other moms. It can be helpful for those currently dealing with symptoms of postpartum depression/anxiety including low mood, irritability, crying, difficulty eating/sleeping, intrusive thoughts etc. This group will give you the opportunity to connect with other women and get support and education regarding postpartum mood, as well as strategies for coping, resources and referrals.

  Note that this is a therapeutic group. An intake will be conducted by our therapist for all those interested in participating to ensure the right fit for group therapy. 

  Please only sign up if you are able to attend all sessions. There is a fee for this program, but we are providing it free to members who need it. The supportive group environment works best with everyone attending each session. 
  The group will once a week from Monday, February 23 to Monday, March 30.

  This group does have some exclusions, where it is not a great fit for those who are experiencing severe PMADs, or those who are experiencing acute crisis.

  Join Swim Time for a 30-minute baby swim class for under 8 months old, offering the perfect way to gently introduce your little one to the water in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

  Class Description - A rewarding water experience for adults with young children. It introduces infants and toddlers to the joys of water activity while developing basic skills and teaches parents/caregivers how to ensure safety at all times. Parents are guided through a series of activities, basic skills and learn about creating safe aquatic environments for their little ones.
  
  All babies must wear an approved elasticized legged swim diaper. No disposable diapers are permitted. No exceptions. They are available for purchase at the front desk for $20 or bring your own if you already have one.

  Group Recipe Share for Busy Parents

  Join us for a casual recipe share designed for busy families. Bring a favorite tried-and-true recipe that’s actually helpful for real life—easy dinners, kid-friendly meals, or anything your family loves.

  How to share: You can bring a paper copy, or simply have the recipe link or photo on your phone. The host will collect everything afterward and create a shared Google Doc so everyone can access the recipes later.

  Babies are welcome! We’ll gather in the meeting room to socialize, and you’re encouraged to enjoy the library space before or after the meetup.

  This is not a potluck—no cooking or prep required. If you want to bring a small treat to share, you’re welcome to, but it’s completely optional.

Lily Morrison is a Speech-Language Pathologist and recent graduate of Western University’s Master of Clinical Science program in Speech-Language Pathology. She is passionate about supporting children in developing their communication skills so they can express themselves to the fullest. As an Indigenous clinician, Lily values holistic, trauma-informed, and family-centred care, and is committed to creating collaborative and culturally responsive therapy experiences. Her clinical interests include early language development, speech sound disorders, and supporting children with diverse communication needs. Outside of work, Lily enjoys reading, running, attending spin classes and concerts, and spending quality time with her friends and family."
