Learn crucial lifesaving CPR techniques and safety fundamentals for the babies and children in your care.

A support network for families of preterm infants as you transition from the NICU to the first months at home.

    Join us for a Storytime & Craft at Tiny Otters Playspace that will begin around 10:15am in their cozy reading/art area. All craft supplies will be provided.

    This brand new playspace features a huge role-play area, slides, monkey bars, a little sandbox, and much much more. So be prepared to have fun and get a little messy. There’s seating areas throughout, a designated snacking area, and child-friendly washrooms.

    LWAB members receive a special discounted price. 

    Pay at the door:
    LWAB members will receive a special 20% off the weekday rate os $17.70.

    Parents are offered free coffee or tea, and each child will receive a small free snack or balloon.

  • DIY Egg Shakers & Circle Time (North York)

    As part of the outdoor crafts and circle time series, we will be creating egg shakers and guka coins (a small acrylic disk that you decorate with cute stickers, glitter, and charms)! Bring a blanket, a favourite toy to share with your friends, and a fun time with the community. We will be at the Shops of Don Mills courtyard. You can grab a coffee and treat, enjoy the outdoors in the courtyard and mingle with other families! 

    Age range: 0-7

    Date/Time: Aug 25, 10:45am

    Cost: $5 per child & caregiver paid through EMT. 

    What's included - all supplies, kids snacks and samples :) 

    What to bring - a blanket, wet wipes, snacks, and your awesome craft skills! If you wish, a toy that you are comfortable sharing.

  • Mom's Night Out - Kickboxing and Dinner (Scarborough/Markham)

    Mom's Night Out!

    Come join us for an evening of high energy workout and dinner after at Gyubee! The kickboxing class is 45-minutes followed by Japanese BBQ dinner  nearby. You are welcome to join in for either event, or both!  

    Class details - This class is a full-body workout that engages the core, legs, arms, chest, and back muscles. It helps strengthen and tone muscles that may have weakened or stretched during pregnancy. Whether you have worked out recently or long ago, you work at your level and comfort! The goal is to have fun and be active as a group! Children ages 12+ are able to participate in the class or younger with previous KB experience. Ages 12 below will be able to watch or hang out nearby.

    - Date/Time: Wednesday, August 26
    - Class - 7:30-8:15pm (Fight Fitness, 50 Torbay Rd, Markham)
    - Dinner at Gyubee Japanese Grill (AYCE) at  - 8:30/8:40pm (7100 Woodbine Ave #100, Markham)

    Registration - Your registration counts as one person. Please register for the number of participants only!

    Cost: Free! A $10 deposit is required per person for the class only to secure your spot. It will be returned to you after your attendance. Refundable until 48 hours before the class.

    What to bring - water, boxing gloves and wraps (if you have), running shoes     (optional), a change of clothing for dinner (if you prefer)

  • Infant Swim with Swim Time (Whitby)

    Join Swim Time for a 30-minute baby swim class for under 8 months old, offering the perfect way to gently introduce your little one to the water in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

    Cost: FREE! 
    Age range: 0-8 months. One parent/caregiver per baby

    Class Description - A rewarding water experience for adults with young children. It introduces infants and toddlers to the joys of water activity while developing basic skills and teaches parents/caregivers how to ensure safety at all times. Parents are guided through a series of activities, basic skills and learn about creating safe aquatic environments for their little ones.

    All babies must wear an approved elasticized legged swim diaper. No disposable diapers are permitted. No exceptions. They are available for purchase at the front desk for $20 or bring your own if you already have one.

    All participants are required to create an account and agree to our policies and procedures. Link will be provided after registration.

    In extension of the monthly in-person Mamapreneur Meet-up, this virtual Mamapreneur Circle is a 20 - 30 minute casual conversation exploring the messy realities of building and growing a business. Think of it as business circle time for mamapreneurs - a safe space to share, learn and grow together.

    For our upcoming circle, we will be hosting an Open Forum. There is a space where you can bring your questions to us and we will answer them live. Whether it's designing a marketing campaign or how to extract an idea while handling nap times. No question is too small.  

    If you have a specific challenge you're facing in this area, feel free to submit them ahead of the session and we'll address them live.

    Younger babies are always welcome, and if crafting isn’t your thing that day, there’s plenty of space for tummy time!

    It’s a come-as-you-are kind of group. There’s time for chatting, connecting, and settling into a rhythm with other parents who just get it.

    Life With a Baby is a Canadian non-profit built around community and connection for parents in the early years. Through free, local programs and peer support, we creates spaces where you can show up as you are, meet other parents nearby, and build real, lasting friendships - so you don’t have to walk through this season alone.
