Let's Learn About Harvesting! ~ Field Trip ~ @ Brooks Farms (Mount Albert)
An exploration of the growing cycle provides an opportunity for children to learn about growing fruits, grains, and vegetables on the farm. The farmer will explain the importance of each season (Spring/Planting, Summer/Growing, Fall/Harvest, Winter/Rest).
Children will learn about grain seeds and their everyday uses. Farm animals and their habits will be explored with a walking tour of the animal pens. All educational tours include a wagon ride around the farm to visit the pumpkin and strawberry fields.
Our play area includes a corn maze, straw jump, zip-lines, bouncing ponies, tricycles, and other farm-oriented activities. Farm animals include goats, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, turkeys, and pigs. Picnic area and washroom facilities are available.
The entire tour lasts approximately one hour. Arrive at 9:30am. The wagon will leave at 9:45am Sharp!.
