A very special show for babies and tots (ages 0-2) is finally making its way to Waterloo Region!

DiSCoVeR is Ontario’s newest presentation series for children (ages 0-8), offering a variety of immersive experiences in theatre and performance this Spring. Together we will explore a series of extraordinary worlds, filled with unexpected discoveries!

On March 27 and 28, the show Tricoter Bébé and Tricoter (from Vancouver) will bring the warmth and connection of a knitting circle to life through dance. The audience, arranged in a circle, becomes part of the performance as the dancer winds and unwinds yarn that becomes an integral part of the choreography. This yarn weaves together the space, linking the performer to the public and place in a unique and interactive way. As the yarn tangles into a large knot of bright colors, memories of family knitting traditions emerge, inviting the audience to experience Tricoter through play, curiosity, and the joy of belonging to a community.
