Each year as a community chapter, LWAB York North chooses a charity to give back to.  This year, we have selected to do Samaritan's Purse Shoe Boxes - Operation Christmas Child.

This is a great giving-back activity for the family.  In our family, I usually have each of my 4 children pick a box, age and gender of a child to shop for with their OWN MONEY and fill a box per the guidelines. They usually pick someone like them :) 

I have pre-ordered 25 boxes for our chapter and am willing to order more if needed.

DEADLINE FOR DELIVERING YOUR BOXES TO ME IS Nov 14th as National collection week begins Nov 15!! If you are interested in participating in this activity, PLEASE PRE REGISTER for as many boxes as you intend to fill and I will be in touch once I have them for pick up.  Pick up and drop off will be at my home in Holland Landing.
