We are very excited to bring LWAB members to Sweet acres pig sanctuary, for a private tour and meet and greet with their rescue pigs!!

They are a pot bellied pig educational centre where rescue pigs who have been re-homed and are now allowed to live out their lives in peace and tranquility, as not so many are as fortunate. 

Kids and adults are able to pet the pigs and feed them treats. The facility is wheelchair / stroller friendly and an overall friendly environment with lots of laughs and smiles

THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR LWAB YORK NORTH MEMBERS. Sweet Acres is a non for profit Sanctuary listed in the Ontario Sanctuary association. We kindly ask that you make a donation on behalf of your family (cash) to the organization owner and show your support. 

You are welcome to bring the following food items to feed the pigs:

• cucumber
• lettuce
• watermelon

At this time, the sanctuary is currently looking for the following donation items if you would like to contribute:

• fleece twin and double bed sheets / blankets (nothing with feathers!)

COVID Protocol:

- registrations for this event are limited.  Please register the total number of people who will be attending (kids included)

- adults and children over age 4, please come wearing masks even though this is an outdoor group event.
