JOIN US for an informative workshop!

Toddler tantrums (Behavioural strategies for understanding, preventing, and responding to difficult toddler behaviour): This workshop will have three parts. Parents will first learn about the common functions or purposes behind challenging behaviour. We will then discuss methods of setting up the environment and routine to prevent different types of challenging behaviour. Lastly, we will discuss effective ways of responding when challenging behaviour does occur. All strategies and information presented is based off of the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).

Babies in arms and children are welcome to attend; however please note that there are no activities for the children onsite.  Please bring items to keep toddlers entertained. 

Cost: $10.00 per participant

Elissa Moretto, M.A., BCBA is the Clinical Director & Owner of Kids First Behaviour Services. As a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and as a mother of two young toddlers, Elissa is dedicated to helping other parents gain the tools to help teach their children meaningful skills and to manage challenging behaviours within the home. Elissa helps families achieve their behavioural and skill development goals through using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which is the research-based science of behaviour and learning.
