The Preemie Parents of Waterloo-Wellington Region, also known as Preemie POWWR, was created so families in the area have a place to turn to receive peer-to-peer support from others who have experienced premature birth. 1 in 12 Canadian babies are born prematurely. Babies are able to receive world class health care while in the NICU. It is important that parents in turn receive support and a place to feel safe when they have questions or concerns about their prematurely born child. We aim to be the support parents of preemies need.

We host monthly Chat & Play Groups in Kitchener and Cambridge.
