Speakers will cover the following Topics:

Jill will lead a workshop on early learn development followed by an interactive circle (Please bring infant carrier to participate.)

Bio of Speakers

Susan Dasmarinas, RCIC is a Licensed Immigration Consultant and is the founder/owner of Happy Nannies Canada, an In-Home Caregiver consulting company that matches the family’s personality & needs with a happy caregiver who will be a loving extension of the parents to the children. Being a mother of 2 beautiful children, now 10 and 6, she knows the challenges parents have in balancing family and work lives. Having a happy nanny can make a huge difference in helping the family, especially for the mommy. Susan specializes in navigating the complex and ever-changing government requirements of getting an in-home caregiver, but more importantly, is passionate about helping families spend more quality time together.

Rose Morsh is a founder of Inventiveminds Child, Youth and Family Center. She has been running a successful Child Care for over 8 years. Rose has taken her own passion as a mother and as an educator in order to support its families and community by showing integrity and sincerity in her day to day life by helping families. Inventiveminds Kidz Academy has an "A" ranking ChildCare with Ministry of Education. Rose will be discussing What to look for in quality care and when is the best time to start. 

Jill Javelosa-Alvarez is a Registered Early Childhood Educator and a College Faculty Supervisor with a strong educational background and years of experience in working with children, families, and early learning professionals. She currently works as an Early Literacy Specialist for York Region in Ontario, Canada and has been nominated in the Educator of Character 2015 Category by the York Region Community Character Foundation. She is the author of the books: ABC, ABC, What Do You See? and The Handbook for Busy Parents. Jill is a busy mom of two wonderful children whom she is totally crazy about.
