$25 Prenatal Breastfeeding Workshop ~ York Region North

A short and fun prenatal breastfeeding workshop to give you the basic knowledge and confidence for when your new baby arrives. First time mothers, experienced moms with challenges in the past or needing a refresher, or new moms not sure if they want to breastfeed will benefit from this workshop. We will talk about how milk production works, what is normal, what is not, latching, trouble shooting, and when and where to get help. Get some practice: bring a soft body doll or stuffed animal to try out positions.

Join me to learn a few breastfeeding tips to help ease yourself into breastfeeding your new baby-to-be! New parents and parents anticipating breastfeeding difficulties would benefit from participating in this session.

We will discuss: how to avoid breastfeeding challenges, when to ask for help, basic latch positioning and basic breastfeeding management. We will also discuss the profession of International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and what resources are available to you if you need help.

Cost:$25/couple maximum 10 couples
