We will be moving to Barrie in the summertime and since I don't know anyone there I thought if anyone is up there and would be intersted I'd love to meet up with anyone and have some playdates for the kids. My son is 3 1/2 and my daughter is 2 next month.

My sister in law has a 20 months old daughter and she is in Barrie. Her name is Lily and she drives down to Vaughan for lifewithababy events. It would be nice because she just moved in Barrie as well and looking for moms with young children. I will let her know about you guys!

Hi Tatiana and Laura,

I moved to Barrie last fall and it's a great city to raise children in! there's lots of great parks and the lakeshore trail is perfect for stroller walks :) I have a 20 month old daughter and we would love to get together for some play dates.

Hey Lily, sent you a message but not sure if you got it. Where in Barrie are you? We are still in process of finding a house...have been almost there with 2 but lost out on both. We are focusing on south end of Barrie and are looking on the east and west sides. Wojuld love to get your input on some of the areas including the one you are in. Ok...well we have purchased a home and will be moving to Barrie as of August 31. Once I'm settled in would love to set up some playdates. My son will be in JK alternate days and my daughter who just turned 2 will be with me so I'd love to do some get togethers. We are moving to south end around Mapleview & Yonge Street. I don't know anyone there so some friendly faces for me and the kids would be nice. Please msg or respond here if you're interested.
