Hi, I suggest you going to the photo place that is by the passportcentre if possible, they probably know what needs to be done. If you are getting it by the  Town Centre (in scarb), there's one on the 1st floor.

I was very frustrated with getting baby passport photos done. Shoppers drug mart didn't have the properly trained staff to do it. They took one and said it should be ok. But when I went to the submit my application, the gov't worker told me the photo was over exposed.

I went back to shoppers, and they couldn't fix the problem so i told them to give me a refund. I went to Blacks and did it again. and went back and forth from the passport centre and Blacks 3 times until they got it right. I wasted so much time!!

Anyway...one tip..don't have your baby wear pink or white clothing. Wear darker clothing as the background is white for passport photos.

I took my son and daughter too a local photo place. I had no problem at all. That is when they were babies. I actually just went to Black cause my daughter's passpot is going to expire. They charge $20 for 2 passport picture. So I went to The Superstore wher they charge $9.99 for 2 passport pictures.

I never had a problem and I am hoping this time the photes will be okay too. Though the girl at Superstore said sometimes the gove't officers have a bad day and they just turn your pictures down for no reason.

I got my daughters done at Black's in Newmarket..she's very active and never sits still, so I said good luck to them, and they got it on the first try, in like 30 seconds.. I was amazed.

I had my daughter's taken when she was 3 months at Walmart in Aurora.  The lady was helpful and had advised she wear dark clothes, I think it helps with glare.  Also had something for her to sit on and had me hold her up with my hand up her shirt.  They turned out well.  I think they were about $15-16.

There is a passport office at Yonge/Sheppard and a photo place in the passport office building.  The guy that works there is fantastic and knows what the passport office will accept and not accept in a photo.  Can save you a lot of grief- not having your application returned because of an unaccepted photo.  He took about 15 pics of my 4 month old before he was satisfied!  Dress your baby in a dark top.

I had my daughter's done at the Real Canadian Superstore in Aurora.

It was only about $9.99 and they took a couple pictures and made sure they got the right pose (as it has to be for the government to accept it). They were very nice and I didn't have to wait long or anything.

I got mine done at Forever Passport Photo Centre - 7378 Yonge St., Unit 1B (Yonge & Clark). It was recommended by a mom I met at Loblaws when I was trying to get passport photo done for my 1st son. Loblaws and lots of places don't do them for babies and I heard stories of photos being sent back because they're not done correctly. The man there is super nice and very patient with the kids. I have always gone back to do passport photos since then.

Thanks ladies!  At least I know that there are a few options out there if one place doesn't work out.
