Hi Julie, if you like to do your own crafts, they are excellent for that.

I used to get plain paper and glue them on the sides then write two or three letters, numbers and shapes on them, then stack them on top of each other and teach Katelyn the letters or numbers. 

Also, I used to tape pictures of different animals, people, just random pics from the magazines and then show them to her.  they are also a lot of fun for rolling them on the floor and crashing them into each other.

Keep in mind that I started giving Katelyn formula at 11 months, but this is just to give you an idea of different crafts that you can use them for.

I still have one or two cans in the closet that I keep things like Crayons, markers etc in.
