Bassinet to crib

    When did you move your baby from the bassinet in your room to a crib in their own room?

    We moved our daughter from her bassinet to the crib just under 3 months, but we kept the crib in our room. She's 8 months now and she's in her crib, but the crib is still in our room. I'm not sure when we'll be moving it to her room...maybe closer to when she's a year old...

    We moved our son to his own crib, in his own room, at 4 months, when we also did the sleep training with him. He's been there ever since. (We have a video monitor as well, which is great.)

    We moved our daughter from the bassinet to the crib at around 6 weeks, it was like sleeping with a trucker in the same room. In the 2 hour stints that she did sleep I couldn't sleep for her being so noisy! We had the angel care monitor with the sensor under the mattress for her breathing so that gave me great peace of mind.
