    Hi everyone,

When did you give your child a blanket and/or pillow to sleep with?  My little ones does summersaults he moves around so much, I'm afraid he's going to get tangled or end up sleeping with his head under the blanket.

    Thanks!

My son is 21 months and I feel the same way.  He moves around so much in the night I am afraid to give him a regular blanket.  He is sleeping well at night for the most part, he is in a sleep sack.

    How old is your child?

He's 14 months and sleeps just in his pj's, either a one piece, but usually two.  He's a pretty warm baby most of the time.  He was only swaddled for 3 weeks before kicking and sliding his way out of it and he screamed when he was in a sleep sac so he just slept in his pj's.  He sleeps 12 hours at night and has been doing that since he was 6 weeks old so I know its not a sleeping issue.

I guess if he isn't complaining he's okay and we'll worry about it when he moves over to a big boy bed.

My son is almost 22 months old and has been sleeping 'with' a blanket since he was about 7 months old. I say 'with' because almost 90% of the time he is on top of the blanket. He likes cuddling it and not so much to sleep under it. He uses one of the stuffed animals as a 'pillow' when he feels like it but most of the time he doesn't need a pillow.

We put him in a sleep sac last winter but this winter he wants to walk, run, jump, dive in his crib and the sac impedes his movement. So we just put him in warm PJs, socks and another big long tee on top of the PJ. He seems to be doing fine with this set up.
