    Hi Ladies,
I'm expecting again and even though I'm super excited I am also SUPER tired and find myself feeling really guilty that I don't have the energy to play and interact with Katelyn as before.

I'm also finding that now that I'm exhausted and maybe a bit moody my dear hubby is really pissing me off :-) lol.   So, I would love to connect with other expecting mommies who are at the same stage as me and due around the same time.

I would love to get together one a month and just talk or do something fun like knitting, sewing or crocheting an item for baby.

Anyone else due between June & August 2011?  How's your pregnancy?
    Thanks
    Claire

    Hi,

I have a 2-year-old daughter and i am expecting at the end of june. So far, i have found this pregnancy quite different than the last one. i too am more tired and obviously find there is less time to devote to my self compared to last pregnancy. i have also found the time is going faster b/c my little Becca keeps me so busy. I have found it is a totally different experience being pregnant for the first time vs. being pregnant with a toddler. i also had a bit of morning sickness this time which i didnt last time and this time i got the flu even though i had a flu shot...

    Hi Simone,
I understand how you feel.  They say every pregnancy is different but I thought well how different can it really be? I'm the same person - so I was really shocked at how different this really is.  But at least this time I know what the end result will be so I'm trying to be positive and count the days until the baby is actually here :-)

Im expecting in August and have a 4 yr old daughter. I feel totally different this pregnancy...very tired and have had horrible morning (all day!!) sickness. I think i feel worse because unlike last time I now have a 4 yr old to run around after and entertain! I know every pregnancy is different, but really didnt think they could be THAT different!

Congratulations everyone on your new pregnancies.  I'm also expecting again and am due at the end of August.  Thankfully I think I feel a bit better during this pregnancy than with my first - just less exhausted overall.  However, with a 2 1/2 year old at home I'm definitely not able to get enough sleep or rest which is starting to take its toll.

Congrats everyone! I'm expecting in April. Is there an April birth club? ;-)

For this pregnancy I have been way more nauseous and way more tired. Taking care of an active toddler doesn't give me much time to take care of myself. I have been sick on and off for the last 2 months which didn't help the situation.

I'm also very impatient with my hubby and I feel bad about that. I just feel like I am not able to be an adequate mom or wife during this pregnancy. I'm sure things will get more hectic and busy once the baby is born!

    Hi Darmeen,

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well.

I'm expecting the end of April/beginning of May. Why don't we start our April-May 2011 Birth Club! I know of two other moms who are expecting in that time.

Except of the 1st trimester. I have been feeling great during this pregnancy. They say every pregnancy is different.

Good luck to all the expecting moms.

    Hi Yendre,

Congrats to you too! I'm due late April. I'm already finding it hard to walk around or stand for too long. I'm not sure how I'm going to function in the next 6 weeks or so. How are you doing these days? We can connect before or after the births (like 2 months after the birth) if you like.

Zoe, Congrats!  I hope you are feeling better now that you are past the three month stage.  I'm also amazed at how different things are this time around, it turns out I'm having a boy this time so maybe that is why.

Having a busy pre-schooler to take care of definitely makes a difference.  Last time I was able to nap whenever I wanted.  After work I could just go straight to sleep etc :-) .

Now, there is also a bit of added guilt that I don't have the energy to play with my daughter the same or pick her up as much.   We are working on a parenting plan for when the baby arrives so things are not total chaos.

What about you?  Have you put any plans in place to smooth the transition?
