White noise machines

    Yes.  We use a white noise machine in our 4 month olds room and have since he was born.  We use the Obus Forme sound machine.  I like the waterfall setting.  We like white noise in our room (a fan) so it makes sense that a baby would too.  It allows them to sleep more peacefully and not be disturbed by noises being made in the house.

    We use the Obus forme one too from well.ca

    It has a variety of sounds and has different time intervals that you can set it at or it also plays continuously.  We've used it since my son was born and it also helps to drown out noise from within the house.  It runs on batteries (great for outside the house) or on an outlet.
