Start your weekend with fun, connection, and hands-on play at Sensory

Saturday!

This family-friendly program is designed for children and their caregivers to explore interactive sensory activities together in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

Parents can enjoy quality time playing alongside their child, meeting other families, and letting little ones explore freely, without worrying about the mess at home. We’ll handle the cleanup so you can head off and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Activities may include sensory bins, creative play stations, movement activities, and more, all designed to encourage exploration, social interaction, and fun.

Important Information:

● Parent/caregiver supervision is required at all times. While we will do our best to ensure activities do not contain small pieces, caregivers are responsible for closely monitoring their child during play.

● Feel free to bring your own coffee or tea, or purchase a beverage from the Kiwanis counter located near the building entrance.

Storytime & Craft at Tiny Otters Playspace - Vaughan (Tuesday, June 09, 2026)

Join us for a Storytime & Craft at Tiny Otters Playspace that will begin around 10:15am in their cozy reading/art area. All craft supplies will be provided.

This brand new playspace features a huge role-play area, slides, monkey bars, a little sandbox, and much much more. So be prepared to have fun and get a little messy. There’s seating areas throughout, a designated snacking area, and child-friendly washrooms.

LWAB members receive a special discounted price.

Pay at the door:
12+ months - $13.60+HST per child + parent pair
0-12 months - free with a paid sibling, otherwise $13.60+HST

Parents are offered free coffee or tea, and each child will receive a small free snack or balloon.

Join us for a Intergenerational fun-filled afternoon at Coleman Care Centre with our residents for our June gathering!

We are bringing tropical vibes your way with a Hawaiian luau-themed party.

Come enjoy a relaxed and playful environment where you and your little one can connect, socialize, and make memories.

We will have a variety of activities for both parents and babies, including festive photo booth, coloring, limbo, temporary tattoos, shell painting and a beach ball toss.

Light snacks and refreshing drinks will be provided just bring yourself, your baby, and your aloha spirit!

What is Flora’s Walk?

Flora’s Walk is Canada’s largest perinatal mental health fundraiser taking place in over 50 cities across Canada. The event culminates in May, World Maternal Mental Health Month, where, after months of fundraising and planning, walks and events are held in cities across Canada throughout the month of May to call attention to the need for improved perinatal mental health care.

Who was Flora?

Flora’s Walk is named about Canadian mother, Flora, who tragically lost her life in 2022 to undetected and undiagnosed and untreated postpartum psychosis. We honour Flora and all those who have lost their lives to perinatal mental illness and fight for those struggling to receive care.

The Impact of Flora’s Walk

Since 2022, over 100 organizations who have received funds through Flora’s Walk have provided free to low cost support groups and therapy across Canada.

In 2023, at Flora’s Walk in Ottawa on Parliament Hill, the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions announced funding to start work on Canada’s first ever clinical national guidelines for perinatal mental health.

Younger babies are always welcome, and if crafting isn’t your thing that day, there’s plenty of space for tummy time!

It’s a come-as-you-are kind of group. There’s time for chatting, connecting, and settling into a rhythm with other parents who just get it.

Life With a Baby is a Canadian non-profit built around community and connection for parents in the early years. Through free, local programs and peer support, we creates spaces where you can show up as you are, meet other parents nearby, and build real, lasting friendships - so you don’t have to walk through this season alone.

Socialize our babies circle time - Niagara (Saturday, June 20, 2026)

Join us for a relaxed outdoor playdate designed for infants (0–2 years) and their caregivers! This is a great opportunity to connect with other parents while giving your little ones a chance to safely interact, explore, and enjoy sensory play with their favourite toys.

We will sit together in a casual circle so babies can see, hear, and engage with each other in a calm, supportive environment.

If the weather does not cooperate, we will move the meet-up to the nearby library instead so the playdate can continue comfortably indoors.

Age range: 0–2 years

Bring your baby’s favourite toys, snacks, and anything they need for comfort
