The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.

The program focuses on small group discussions, problem solving, role-playing, and instructor-led demonstrations. The Student Reference Book is designed to allow the program participants to actively participate in class assignments. It provides a review of the program material, as well as additional information that will be of value to the students.

This session will also include a special visit and presentation from the Fire Department. 

CHILDREN MUST BE 10 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM.  If your child is not yet 10 at the time of this course, please email connie@lifewithababy.com for future event wait list.  We plan to run this again in the Spring. 

PROGRAM IS WITHOUT PARENT PARTICIPATION.  PARENTS PLEASE DROP / PICK UP YOUR CHILDREN ON TIME.  Adult instructors' supervision is provided during the workshop.
